I am not a woman. I am an inferno, I am a tempest. I am venom and fangs and claws. I am lightning and starlight, and I am hell in high heels.

These themes are not bases. I’ve gotten a considerable amount of questions asking if they are, and I stick by to my answer: they aren’t. I hope you can respect that enough to not treat them as such.

Please is a nice word, but doesn't always make a message nice.
For instance, I've seen messages like please stop bitching and omg please shut up. I've also seen a lot of demands (not requests; see the next bullet) with the word please, and while I always encourage people to use manners, the term please doesn't automatically make a message sweet or polite. Don't jump down the throat of the person answering the question when they don't reply in the nicest way possible.
There's a fine line between demands and requests.
It's basically can you versus you should. When talking about graphics or themes or meta or anything of the like, you should (ha, irony) never tell someone what they should or shouldn't be doing. Always be polite. Find it in your heart to ask and not demand. Do you see how much nicer can you post your theme sounds compared to you should post your theme?
Be patient and be considerate.
Time doesn't grow on trees, folks. The person you left a message for might have school or work--basically, not all the time in the world. They also probably have other messages to answer. Please keep that in mind before you ask them why they haven't answered your message yet, or worse, demanding they answer your question right now. It's rude and quite frankly, a bit pretentious.
→ Derek/Stiles [Featured Recs]
The Skies Above Are Blue
Summary: Derek is a wedding DJ. Stiles just happens to go to a lot of weddings.
Summary: Stiles spends almost every night at Winston Diner. They have the best coffee he’s ever tasted, and free wifi. Of course, the only waiter ever on staff after eleven, Derek, was a piece of work. But maybe, underneath that chilly personality, Derek was the kind of person who Stiles didn’t mind spending every night with, after all.
